WINTER RETREAT 2026
Sunday February 1st, 2026, 1-6 pm, Richmond, CA
Winter is a season embodying stillness, rest, and the space before renewal. It is a reminder that rest is necessary for survival. We are invited to slow down, strip away distractions, and sit with our emotions. It is the time that seeds are germinating underground. In grief, this speaks to the subtle, invisible ways healing begins - you don’t see or feel it yet, but tiny shifts, new capacities and deepening wisdom are preparing to emerge.
This retreat is for those seeking connection, support, and a space to heal while embracing the energy of winter.
If you are navigating grief and loss, we invite you to join us for a nurturing and transformative retreat on Sunday, February 1st from 1-6 PM.
This intimate gathering (limited to 12 participants) offers a space for you to process grief, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the season of stillness and reflection through art, movement, nature, and ritual
Location
Richmond California, near Wildcat Canyon regional park. Details of location will be emailed to you when you register.
Retreat Highlights
Serene Yurt Space
Join us in a cozy yurt in a tranquil setting, where we will co-create an altar space honoring our loved ones, eat nourishing snacks, take breaks and make space for journal writing.
This is your time and your space to process your grief in the way you need. We are here to support and guide you but know everything offered is optional.
Schedule
-
We will begin the day with a meet and greet and snacks and tea, before settling into our circle. After introductions and a chance to place photos and/or objects of your departed loved ones on the altar, we will begin the program.
-
Immerse yourself in nature’s wisdom and support and honor your journey with a guided ritual. Stacia will lead us in a non-denominational ritual, that will incorporate the qualities of the current season.
-
There will be options for the hike portion of the retreat, including an easy stroll to the meadow as well as the option to stay in the yurt. The trail is approximately 15 min of moderate terrain.
-
Express and learn to understand your feelings and explore healing through creativity. Julia will offer an art activity. No artistic experience required. It’s all about the process, not the product.
